Starting the C16C is easy thanks to the soft start engagement system. The 16 horsepower of the quality Briggs & Stratton Vanguard four-stroke engine.

Employing two cutting knives, the heavy duty C16C has the appetite to chip branch material (green or dry) up to 110mm thick.

The extremely efficient self-feeding action can be attributed to the design of the rotor and the blade set up. The inertia generated by the large 50kg rotor disk creates sufficient momentum to continue cutting, as well as providing enough of draught to discharge the mulch a safe distance away. The distance can be moved closer to the operating area, if desired, by adjusting the deflector on the chute. Having a discharge height of 1.4 metres makes the C16C model ideal for discharging onto a trailer, wheelbarrow or stockpile, eliminating the need for any double handling of the material.

Access to blades and clearing of the cutting chamber is simple - a few turns of the wingnut and everything is accessible within seconds. The blades are individually adjustable, eliminating the need for angle adjustment and allowing optimal clearance. The blades can last anywhere up to 30 hours before requiring sharpening, depending on the type of material being handled.

The C16C is fitted with large pneumatic wheels and and a front castor wheel for easy transportation.
